Our website www.SMA-Solar.com offers comprehensive information on solutions for the generation, storage, and use of renewable energies, in particular the products and services of SMA Solar Technology AG. It also facilitates contact with specialists for the planning, installation, and commissioning of PV systems and complete energy systems and enables the purchase of extended warranties for SMA inverters. In addition, the website links to the SMA Energy App and other SMA digital content that enables the planning, use, and monitoring of SMA energy systems as well as the purchase of products and services.

Fulfillment of Accessibility Requirements

We strive to make our digital content affected by the requirements of Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act) accessible and usable in accordance with Article 13 in conjunction with Article 4, Annex I of the European Accessibility Act.   • The focus indicator is visible to identify which element is active when using the keyboard for navigation and orientation.

  • Standard controls, such as text boxes and checkboxes, are used.

Safe and compatible design

  • No blinking or flashing content is used.

Orientation and consistency

  • Navigation and operation are consistent and logically structured.

Simple language, structure, and semantics

  • We use mostly simple language and strive to present text in a clear and understandable manner.

  • Text and forms are semantically correct, logically grouped into paragraphs or lists, and mostly have precise headings.

Through regular reviews and adjustments, we ensure that our digital content complies with legal requirements and is continuously improved to ensure a high level of accessibility and security for all users. Despite our efforts to identify and address accessibility issues, some content may not yet be fully adapted to the most stringent accessibility standards. This may be because existing accessibility barriers have not yet been identified or appropriate technical solutions have not been found.
